Setting: SEN School
Contract Type: Full-Time
Do you have a passion for supporting children with SEN and want to make a difference ?
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to support in a KS3 class. You’ll work closely with pupils on a 1-1 basis in a classroom setting with their learning and development.
The role is full time until September 2026 and will be reviewed to continue for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD. Training will be provided
*Work collaboratively with teachers and outside agents to implement individual learning plans
*Promote a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment
Essential Requirements
*Experience working with children is essential
*Previous experience supporting in a school setting or similar
*Understanding of ASD
*Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support
