Salary: Inner London weighting national pay scales + 5% with TLR 2C (£5,640)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Chemistry to lead our department at a prestigious school in Kensington & Chelsea. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of an ’A’ grade in A-Level Chemistry.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a chemistry-related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry to Key Stage 5 students.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire both students and staff.
- A track record of driving excellent academic results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Chemistry department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
- Teach Chemistry to Key Stage 5 students, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Monitor and assess student progress, implementing strategies to improve results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Manage department resources and budget effectively.
