International Recruitment Account Manager
Location
Andover, office-based role (this position is not remote). International remit.
Salary & Commission
£26,000–£30,000 per annum basic salary, plus uncapped commission.
Role Purpose
This role is a client-facing, revenue-generating recruitment position focused on delivering UK and international recruitment solutions while actively growing the business through new client acquisition and account expansion.
The role is designed for a recruitment professional who is comfortable working from the office, operating across time zones, managing international clients and candidates, and taking a proactive, hunter-style approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Account Management
*Manage and grow a portfolio of international clients, acting as the primary point of contact for recruitment requirements.
*Deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions for overseas and international roles, from job briefing through to placement and onboarding.
*Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including clients operating in security-sensitive environments.
*Provide market insight, candidate intelligence, and recruitment advice to support client hiring decisions.
Overseas & International Recruitment Delivery
*Source, screen, and manage candidates for international and overseas assignments across multiple regions.
*Coordinate recruitment activity across UK, EMEA, APAC, and US time zones, including interviews and candidate engagement.
*Manage recruitment pipelines, interviews, offers, and deployment timelines.
*Ensure recruitment activity aligns with relevant compliance, operational, and client-specific requirements.
Business Development & Growth (Hunter-Focused)
*Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through outbound business development.
*Develop new client relationships and expand existing accounts to increase revenue and service scope.
*Lead introductory meetings, pitch recruitment services, and support proposal and tender responses.
*Maintain awareness of market trends, client demand, and competitor activity to inform growth strategy.
International Working & Flexibility
*Work flexibly to support international clients and candidates, including early mornings and late evenings as required due to time-zone differences.
*Demonstrate cultural awareness and professionalism when engaging with global stakeholders.
Reporting & Systems
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM systems, recruitment trackers, and internal databases.
*Produce recruitment activity and pipeline reports for internal stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Essential
*Proven experience as a recruitment account manager or recruiter with responsibility for international or overseas recruitment.
*Demonstrable success in business development, including hunter-style new client acquisition.
*Experience working with security-cleared clients or within security-sensitive, regulated, or government-adjacent environments.
*Strong client management skills with experience handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
*Ability to manage recruitment processes end-to-end and work autonomously.
*Willingness and flexibility to work outside standard UK hours to support global recruitment activity.
*Willingness to work from the office; this role is not remote.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
*Experience recruiting for aviation, maritime, government, defence, or other specialist sectors.
*Experience supporting recruitment in challenging, remote, or non-standard environments.
*International market knowledge across EMEA, APAC, or the Americas.
