Job Description:
A leading global financial organisation is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join their Front Office team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in analysing and interpreting both financial and non-financial information, directly supporting Senior Management and the front office in evaluating, controlling, and maximising business profitability.
What you’ll do:
*Prepare comprehensive global Front Office reporting models and monthly Executive packs that provide clear insights into performance trends for senior management.
*Develop detailed compensation reports by reviewing monthly movements and collaborating closely with Compensation teams and Business Managers to document one-off items and trend variances.
*Work alongside Business Managers to prepare accurate forecasts that inform strategic planning across multiple regions.
*Analyse support function cost allocations by partnering with the Group FP&A team to ensure full understanding of all allocated costs within the fully costed front office profit and loss statements.
*Play an active role in developing and adopting Tableau as the primary reporting solution, driving improvements in data visualisation and accessibility for key stakeholders.
*Maintain front office hierarchies, controls, and reconciliations within Insight to ensure robust governance over financial data.
*Prepare and upload alternate management accounting allocations for support functions and corporate cost bases, along with front office budgets, facilitating direct reporting from Insight.
*Undertake ad-hoc analysis as requested by front office teams or senior management, responding promptly to emerging business needs.
What you bring:
*Qualified accountant
*4+ years FP&A experience within financial services
*Ideally both cost and revenue experience
*FP&A experience working with the front office team would be ideal
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
*Experience analysing performance through interpretation of profit & loss accounts (P&Ls) and key performance indicators (KPIs) is vital for success in this role.
