Job Description:
*Product Controller (Contract)
*Banking & Financial Services
*£65-75,000 (Hybrid)
We are working with a world-leading Banking & Financial Services Group, who are looking to welcome a Product Controller on a 12-month FTC into their team.
In the role, you’ll be responsible for controlling and reporting high quality and timely financial information referring to commercial activity to multiple stakeholders. This is a key role within an exciting and entrepreneurial part of the business.
Your Role
*Producing daily P&L for various trading desks, challenge any differences and report issues.
*Preparing senior management reports on the performance and risk analysis.
*Calculating fair value adjustments and ensuring trades are correctly recorded.
*Involvement in the improvement of the P&L process working with various stakeholders across the business.
*Ensure a strong control environment and highlight any weaknesses to senior management.
*Perform analysis on any new products and impact on the business.
*Actively taking part in projects bringing improvement to the reporting process.
*Analysing the balance sheet and reporting on business drivers.
Your Skills and Qualifications
*ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified with at least 2 years P&L reporting experience, ideally with varied product knowledge.
*Strong inter-personal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
*Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
