Cook/Front of House Team Member (Bistro/Cafe)
*Hourly Rate: £14.00
*Location: Bedford,
*Job Type: Temporary weekend 08.30am -4.00pm - 30 mins break unpaid
An established charity, where you will play a vital role in their day-to-day operations. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks from cooking to front of house duties.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Prepare and cook meals according to their standard recipes.
*Engage in front of house activities including greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food.
*Provide excellent table service, ensuring all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
*Manage multiple tasks within the kitchen, including washing up and maintaining cleanliness.
*Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth operation.
*Handle food with care, following all safety and hygiene standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in cooking and kitchen management is preferred.
*Strong ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills.
*A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
*Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
