Learning Support Assistant – SEN Specialist (January 2026 Start) Hiring multiple.
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Contract: Full time 5 days a week, long term with a chance of permanent.
Salary: £85 to £105 a day.
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them thrive? We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Learning Support Assistants’ to join a warm, inclusive primary school team from January 2026, with the potential to secure a permanent role.

The Role
*Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, primarily in KS1, with flexibility to assist in KS2 when required.
*Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to deliver interventions and personalised strategies.
*Foster a positive, nurturing environment that builds confidence and independence.
*Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and within the classroom setting.

*Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
*Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
