We are working with a valued client in the Northamptonshire area to recruit for an Credit Controller on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you’ll play a key role in managing the full end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring healthy cash flow and accurate financial reporting.
Credit Controller
Rate - £170-£180 per day (Umbrella)
Location - Northamptonshire
Contract length - 6-8 weeks temporary
The Role
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Ensure tidy and accurate sales ledgers, including opening of new accounts
* Liaise with customer contacts to ensure debts are received on time, and are allocated and
reconciled against the ledgers
* Check and release sales orders daily, regularly reviewing and managing credit limits
* Prepare and review sales ledger related balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate
understanding of the ledgers are maintained
* Liaise with key stakeholders within the Sales teams to ensure all transactions are reported
appropriately
* Be a key contact for the external audit, including ensuring appropriate support is available
* Support the Group Financial Controller and wider Finance function as needed
* Provide key input into the Group’s cashflow forecasting
* Drive continuous improvement in day to day activities
About You
* Have at least three years’ experience in a similar role
* Strong Excel skills necessary
* Experience in multi-currency, B2B businesses preferable
* Language speaking skills desirable
* Ability to work proactively and autonomously, whilst supporting a wider team
