Job Title: Journals Records Coordinator
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Temporary (potential for long-term)
Schedule: 5 days per week, office-based
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join the Journals Department. This role involves maintaining accurate records of all journals, ensuring timely updates, and managing stock across the UK. You will liaise with publishing companies and educational institutions to keep information current and support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintain and update records of all journals in the system.
*Liaise with external companies and educational bodies to ensure journal information is accurate and up to date.
*Monitor and manage stock levels across UK locations.
*Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely distribution.
*Provide administrative support to the Journals Department as required.
Requirements
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Excellent communication skills for liaising with external partners.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
*Previous experience in record-keeping or stock management is desirable but not essential.
