A leading Local Authority is on the lookout for an exceptional leader to fill the role of Assistant Director of Asset Management. This pivotal position is central to ambitious plans for regeneration and sustainable growth. Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee a diverse and complex portfolio, including investment properties, corporate estates, public assets, retail spaces, housing, and new office developments.

*Ensure that assets deliver the best possible financial and social value, supporting regeneration and prosperity for Oldham.
*Champion innovation and transformation by inspiring teams, embracing technology, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in asset and property management at a senior level.
*A track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering major capital projects.
*Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance financial priorities with community outcomes.
*Public sector experience, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local authorities.
*Visionary leadership skills and the resilience to lead transformative change.
