Job Description:
*Management Accountant
*FinTech
*£40-50,000 + bonus, bens and study support
Our client is a rapidly growing and fast paced FinTech with interests in financial markets technology and insurance with a requirement for a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will support the monthly management accounts process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust controls.
Key Responsibilities:
*Produce full monthly management accounts and value add reporting.
*Support with the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
*Process journals for various entities, reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate financial records.
*Reconcile bank accounts and be responsible for the accounts payable process.
*Pull together financial data across various business lines and support the annual audit.
*Work on process improvements and ad hoc finance projects.
Skills & Qualifications
*ACCA/CIMA Finalist with at least 2/3 years relevant accounting experience including producing end-to-end monthly management accounts.
*Solid understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and accounting standards.
*Sage Intacct knowledge would be a benefit but is not essential.
*Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivots, data manipulation).
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
*Able to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
*Strong communicator able to explain financial information clearly.
