KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this vibrant, successful organisation on the outskirts of Newcastle, to recruit a Management Accountant. Your duties will be as follows:
*Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
*Interpretation and analysis of the accounts and explanation of variances
*Assisting in preparing financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and cashflows
*Working closely with senior management to resolve any queries with financial statements
*Full reconciliation of all balance sheet and control accounts including prepayment and accrual calculations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
*Responsible for posting journals and performing complex analysis
*Providing supporting data and relevant analysis to senior management to aid decision making in an effective and timely manner
*Recording financial transactions
*Assisting in reconciling supplier ledgers and agreeing to supplier statements
*Ensuring payments to suppliers are paid as per the supplier payment terms
*Completion of quarterly VAT return
*Analysing and reporting of period end departmental reports
You will ideally be a qualified Accountant or working towards your qualification, although candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered.
