Finance Assistant
*Location: Belfast City Centre
*Job Type: Full-time | Temporary | Hybrid Working
Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnered with a reputable company based in Belfast City Centre in the appointment of an experienced Finance Assistant to join their established team!
The successful Finance Assistant will support the Financial Controllers and the wider finance team. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management information, and ensuring compliance with both internal controls and external regulations. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in financial processing and control, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
*Inputting purchase ledger invoices
*Liaising with budget holders for payment approval
*Reconciling supplier’s ledger accounts to statements
*Preparing supplier payments
*Preparation of nominal analysis for Budget Holders
*Inputting disbursements to office and ledgers
*Maintaining accurate office & client ledger information
What you’ll need to succeed!
*2 years working in a busy transactional role requiring a high degree of accuracy
*Bookkeeping or Purchase Ledger experience
*Previous experience working within a finance team
*Previous experience working with MS Excel, Outlook & Teams
*Previous experience working with computerised accounting software
