Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering Services Division are supporting a long standing client who specialise in power generation and critical emergency power supply to recruit an experienced and time served approved Installation Electrician to work on a variety of interesting industrial engineering projects throughout the UK.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Installation Electrician include: *Installation of electrical systems, including cable containment, power, data and control cabling, switchgear, control cubicles and panels
*Drive onsite progress of the project to maintain the program of works timelines
*Undertaking electrical installation testing and periodic inspection and testing
*Powering up and commissioning/assisting commissioning engineers
*Management and ordering of materials to maintain good workflow on site
*Record keeping and documentation for testing and commissioning of installations
*Maintaining best practices on site and upholding SSOW and company safety rules
Qualifications, Skills, Training & Experience required for the Installation Electrician role include: *Experienced industrial installation electrician (power generation knowledge is an advantage)
*18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations
*City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing (or working towards achieving)
*ECS / JIB gold card
*IPAF, PASMA would be an advantage
*Full valid UK driving license
*A valid CSCS card
*Experience and ability to work away, visiting sites all over the UK
