Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering Services Division are supporting a long standing client as their business grows to recruit an Engineering Technician to support the Field Based Engineering teams as they work on prestigious sites on critical infrastructure projects throughout the UK.
Our client is a forward-thinking engineering business based in Rotherham, renowned for delivering innovative and reliable energy solutions across the UK, from emergency power and CHP systems to solar, diesel and gas installations. Our client supports clients in critical sectors such as Banking, Healthcare, and Commercial Distribution.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Engineering Technician include: *Panel wiring
*Installation of new hardware to existing installations, including power and control cabling
*Modification of existing power generation systems
*Fault diagnosis and rectification on generator control systems
Qualifications, Skills, Training & Experience required for the Engineering Technician role: *Background in power generation
*Good technical knowledge of gas and/or diesel generators
*Full valid driving license
*Ability to work away from home during the week
