Assistant Billing Manager
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE
Location: Clapham Junction, Southwest London
Hybrid working: 2 days in the office
Reports to: Billing Manager

Due to continued growth and expansion, this newly created role offers excellent exposure across billing, revenue reporting, automation and process improvement. Reporting directly to the Billing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate invoicing, robust controls and high-quality revenue reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities – Assistant Billing Manager
Billing & Revenue Processing
*Prepare and issue invoices across POS, events, accommodation and corporate clients
*Validate and reconcile data from EPOS and CRM systems prior to billing
*Support the review of complex billing items, adjustments and correction
*Maintain clear documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance
Daily Sales & Revenue Reporting
*Produce accurate daily sales reports
*Monitor and report on exceptions, cancellations, adjustments and outstanding invoices
*Support monthly billing and revenue reporting for senior stakeholders
Process Improvement & Automation
*Support the automation of billing workflows and reporting processes
*Identify recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements
*Assist with system upgrades, testing and automation initiatives
Collaboration & Compliance
*Act as a key finance contact for Operations, Events and Sales teams
*Resolve billing queries efficiently, escalating complex matters when required
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT and revenue recognition policies
Skills & Experience Required
*Proven experience in a billing or revenue-focused finance role
*NetSuite experience is essential
*Strong understanding of billing processes, VAT and revenue recognition
*Experience working with EPOS and CRM systems
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across departments
*Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
*Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs & Formulas)
