Description
*Prepare and review statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations.
*Conduct and oversee audit assignments from planning through to completion.
*Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
*Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing support where necessary.
*Maintain strong client relationships and handle client queries professionally.
*Ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards.
*Provide support to clients regarding tax matters and financial planning.
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the department.
Profile
A successful Audit and Accounts Senior should have:
*Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA or ACCA, or equivalent.
*Proven expertise in audit and accounts preparation within accountancy practice.
*Strong knowledge of accounting standards and auditing regulations.
*Experience in managing client relationships effectively.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills.
*Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members.
*Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
