Insurance (Non-Contentious) Lawyer (2+ years’)
A leading international firm seeking a Non-Contentious Insurance Lawyer to join its growing Insurance team in Edinburgh.
The role will involve:
*Advising on a range of non-contentious insurance and regulatory matters
*Supporting transactional and advisory work across the insurance sector
*Drafting and negotiating commercial, distribution and outsourcing agreements
*Advising on insurance-related regulatory issues
*Working collaboratively with colleagues across regulatory, corporate and financial services teams
*Building strong client relationships and contributing to wider team initiatives
The team and work:
*A well-established insurance practice with a strong market reputation
*A mix of advisory and transactional work
*Exposure to a broad client base across the insurance and financial services sector
*Opportunities to work closely with colleagues in other specialist teams
Skills required:
*Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE (flexibility on level)
*Experience in insurance, financial services, regulatory or related commercial work
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Commercially aware and client-focused
*A collaborative team player with an interest in developing their practice
