Head of Organisational Effectiveness | Permanent | £80,000-£90,000 | Hybrid working 1-2 days onsite
Altum are currently partnered exclusively with one of the UK’s largest research charities on a newly created position following an internal revamp of priorities, functions, and structure.


Leading the newly created Centre of Expertise for Organisational Effectiveness, you will build and lead a new team that covers strategic workforce planning, org. design, people change, and employee experience, inclusion & wellbeing, all with the focus of planning, designing, and delivering work more effectively


Part of the senior leadership team, your peer group you’ll focus on turning strategic people needs into frameworks, policies and processes, and be responsible for articulating and measuring their impact.


Reporting to the Director of Organisation Effectiveness & Talent, key responsibilities will include:
*Ensure the organisation have the tools and activities to plan for future skills, roles, and capacity
*Build HR capability in planning and performance, helping teams use tools and routines confidently to support organisational goals
*Ensure the people-focused elements of the ED&I strategy are embedded into everyday practice
*Lead and develop the Org. Effectiveness team, ensuring they’re meeting the needs of the organisation

To be considered for the role you will need:
*Senior level HR experience that stretches across the 4 key areas of the CoE
*Strong analytical, critical, and technical experience that allows you to build compelling narratives from data and insights
*Exceptional senior stakeholder management, allowing you to inform, influence, and persuade
