Robert Half are working in partnership with an established business in Chippenham to recruit a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity where you will take ownership of the management accounting processes for the business, whilst supporting with key business decisions and operational finance tasks.
The Role
The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of the following:
*Preparing the monthly management accounts; balance sheet and P&L
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Accruals and prepayments
*Financial reporting
*Fixed assets and depreciation
*Posting journals
*VAT returns
*Cash flow forecasting
*Preparing aged debtor and creditor reports
Profile
The Management Accountant role would be suitable for someone that has the following skills/experience:
*Proven experience preparing management accounts
*Ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience
*Experience within the construction or property industry would be advantageous
*Strong organisational skills
*Confident user of Excel; familiar with pivot tables and lookups
*Good attention to detail
*Strong communication skills
*Excellent collaboration skills
