Business Development Executive
*Annual Salary: Basic £26,000 per annum plus commission (OTE: Up to £58,000)

Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to enhance their Van Sales Team. This pivotal role focuses on driving sales growth through strategic and consultative B2B selling of commercial van products. Located in Hatfield, the position offers a competitive salary, a robust commission structure, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
*Sales Generation: Proactively prospect and develop new leads within the commercial van market segment across England, aiming to increase sales volume and market share.
*Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain robust relationships with both existing and potential clients across England, understanding their business objectives and transportation needs to provide tailored solutions.
*Product Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of the commercial van models, features, and specifications to effectively educate clients on the benefits.
*Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative approach to assess client needs and recommend suitable van models, configurations, and financing options.
*Negotiation and Closing: Handle negotiations regarding terms of sale, pricing, and contracts, ensuring sales transactions are closed efficiently.
*Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, prioritizing activities to maximize sales opportunities and meet revenue targets.
*Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to spot new business opportunities and propel sales growth.
*Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions, and compile regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
*Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service throughout the sales process, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
*Collaboration: Work closely with finance, logistics, and after-sales service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in sales within the automotive industry, particularly in commercial vehicle sales.
*Demonstrated success in B2B sales.
*In-depth knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitors in the commercial van sector.
*Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales management tools.
*Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
