Job Description:
I am supporting a great PE backed business in Swindon to secure an Interim FP&A Accountant to start with them the 2nd week in January 2026.
The position is offered on a hybrid basis, ideally 3 days in and 2 days working remotely, however options can be discussed.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Lead the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process across all departments, ensuring comprehensive financial planning.
*Develop and refine financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting efforts.
*Partner with department heads to challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with financial strategies.
*Provide detailed variance analysis and scenario planning to inform decision-making processes.
*Support the Group Financial Controller and wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting, including the use of PowerBI.
*Engage with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
*Experience in leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Proven financial modelling and data manipulation.
*Strong proficiency in using financial software and tools, including PowerBI.
*Ability to provide strategic financial insights and scenario analysis.
*Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external parties.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be available to start around the 2nd week in January and a short interview with the client will take place the 1st week back in January 2026. Please get in touch to explore further.
