A major client of ours is looking to build a team of strong Talend ETL Data Engineers for a long-term project migrating legacy systems and Data into a Talend ecosystem, and is looking for experienced Talend Data Engineers.

This is an approved Outside IR35 contract role with the potential to run long-term over 12 months.

However, you will need to have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years to be able to gain BPSS clearance as a minimum, and ideally move towards SC level.

Skill set needed:
*ETL/ELT pipelines, transformations, and data quality
*Strong SQL and performance optimisation
*Experience with data integration patterns (batch / real-time, CDC, APIs)
*Solid problem-solving and debugging skills in the context of data pipelines
*Version control and an understanding of CI/CD and deployment of data jobs
*Data modelling experience would be a plus, but it’s not essential, as most of that work sits at an enterprise level.
I have interview slots for this week, both Thursday and Friday, and the client is looking to appoint this side of Christmas with start dates both this side of Christmas and the New Year.
