*As an Teaching asssistant you will support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them to access learning across the curriculum and running your own nurture group with SEN children.
* Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs
* Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support the school’s values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement

* In order to work as an Teaching assistant, you must remain positive, resilient and have a caring approach to working with children
* A team player who is reliable, enthusiastic and proactive
* Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
* NVQ Level 3 in Teaching Assistance

What an Level 3 Teaching Assistant Will Do * Support early learning through structured and play-based activities
* Assist with phonics, communication and early writing tasks
* Help children build social skills, confidence and independence
* Support personal care routines where needed
* Follow EYFS curriculum guidance with teachers and support staff
Requirements for an Teaching Assistant * Previous experience essential
* Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification preferred
* Confident supporting young children’s early development
* Adaptable, friendly and patient
* Comfortable working across different Waltham Forest schools
