Job Title: Parts Manager
Location: Ripon
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join an established team as a Parts Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department, driving sales, and maintaining high standards of organisation and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
*Coordinate and distribute workload to maximise parts sales.
*Maintain a commercial approach to stock quality and quantities.
*Lead and manage a small team, fostering development and motivation.
*Execute parts processes and ensure the department and its surroundings are clean, safe, and well-organised.
*Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve best cost pricing and maintain strong relationships.
*Manage warranty and return claims within required timeframes to secure maximum credits.
*Ensure branch performance targets are met and continuously improve departmental efficiency.
*Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations.
Skills & Qualifications:
*Ideally, an agricultural background or knowledge of agricultural machinery.
*3–5 years’ experience in the parts business.
*Strong leadership and team management skills.
*Ability to analyse and interpret internal reports.
*Proficiency in standard computer applications and internet functions.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required.
Working Hours:
*Monday to Friday
*Includes some Saturdays and attendance at trade event days
