Job Description:
The Credit Manager will oversee credit control processes, ensuring effective management of cash and minimising risk. This temporary to permanent position requires solid end-end Credit Control Management expeirence and overseeing a small team based in Runcorn.

This role is with a reputable multi-million turnover organisation,they are hugely growing and evolving. They are looking for a temporary Credit Manager initially with a view to go perm, hybrid working overseeing a small team based in Runcorn.
Description
The Credit Manager duties include;
*Overseeing a small team to help delegate, manage and coach.
*Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
*Review and approve credit applications in line with company policies and procedures.
*Monitor customer accounts and conduct regular credit risk assessments.
*Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve payment disputes and queries.
*Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collections performance to senior management.
*Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment agreements.
*Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company guidelines.
*Provide guidance and support to the team in meeting credit control objectives.
Profile
A successful Credit Manager should have:
*Proven experience in credit management position
*ICM/CICM (desirable not essential)
*Strong knowledge of credit management principles and practices.
*Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
*Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
*Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
