Reed is delighted to be working with a successful consultancy based in Gloucestershire seeking a Quantity surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a professional and friendly team.
The role will involve working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, assisting with both Pre and Post Contract duties across a wide variety of projects including hospitality, leisure, education, residential, and commercial sectors.
Day-to-day of the role:
Support and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing cost plans, and analyses.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents, financial statements, and measurement for Bills of Quantities/Schedules of Work.
Conduct Final Account Assessments and valuations.
Manage assessment of cost variations to contract.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Provide project support for client direct suppliers coordination.
Perform project analysis for cost databases.
For this role the client is interested in talking to candidates with Quantity Surveying experience from either a Contractor or Consultancy background with experience in JCT contract, measuring and Cost Planning.
