Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit a Head of Continuous Improvement. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to drive operational excellence and embed a true culture of continuous improvement across the site.
The role Reporting into the senior leadership team, the Head of Continuous Improvement will be responsible for developing and delivering the continuous improvement strategy, ensuring Lean principles and best practice are embedded across manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Creating and leading a site-wide continuous improvement strategy

* Driving Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies

* Embedding a culture of CI across all levels of the organisation

* Identifying and delivering improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost and delivery

* Using data, KPIs and visual management to track performance and sustain improvements

* Coaching and developing leaders and teams in CI tools and ways of working

* Supporting operational transformation, capital projects and new product introduction

The candidate The successful candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment and be comfortable operating at a senior leadership level.
You will be able to demonstrate:
* Proven experience in a senior CI / Operational Excellence role within manufacturing

* Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt desirable)

* A track record of delivering sustainable, measurable improvements within a Manufacturing business

* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels

* A pragmatic, hands-on approach with strong commercial awareness
