Sustainability Consultant
Sutton/Bedford
A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join its growing sustainability team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of UK-based projects, including residential, mixed-use, commercial, education, and healthcare developments.
Key Responsibilities * Deliver sustainability assessments and advisory services across multiple project types
* Undertake BREEAM assessments, including evidence reviews and site inspections
* Prepare sustainability statements and reports to support planning applications
* Provide advice on net zero carbon strategies and wider sustainability objectives
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams
Essential Criteria * Degree-qualified in sustainability, environmental science, building services, or a related discipline
* Experience working in a sustainability or built environment consultancy role
* Strong understanding of sustainable building design principles
* Excellent written, verbal, and organisational skills
Desirable Criteria * Licensed BREEAM Assessor
* Experience with life cycle assessment (LCA) or carbon reporting
* Knowledge of UK sustainability standards and legislation
* Membership of a relevant professional body
