Group Assistant Accountant
Location: Wakefield (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £32,000 per annum

About the Role Marks Sattin is recruiting for a Group Assistant Accountant to join a leading manufacturrer in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to progress their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities *Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the Group.
*Support in producing accurate financial reports and analysis for senior stakeholders.
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with internal controls.
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
*Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
*Support year-end and audit processes.
*Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function.
What We’re Looking For *Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying towards qualification.
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
*Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively across departments.
*Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
