REED FE are currently seeking a temporary Electrical Tutor to deliver educational content to Level 3 apprentices.
Electrical Tutor
*Hourly Rate: Up to £45ph
*Location: Kent
*Job Type: Temporary from January 2026
*Hours: Full time/Part time
Day-to-day of the role of an Electrical Tutor:
*Deliver educational content to Level 3 apprentices, focusing on the 7345 EAL standard.
*Prepare and execute lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
*Assess and evaluate apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback.
*Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
*Maintain accurate and complete records of apprentices’ progress and development.
*Prepare apprentices for assessments and qualifications in line with EAL standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Electrical Tutor role :
*Qualified to EAL requirements, with solid understanding of the 7345 EAL standard.
*Experience teaching all three years of a Level 3 apprenticeship.
*Familiarity with C&G 5357 is advantageous.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire apprentices from diverse backgrounds.
*DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one
