Overview:
Reed Financial Services are excited to be working in partnership with a Small IFA firm in Exeter who have a unique development opportunity for an ambitious individual aiming to progress into a client-facing role. This position starts with foundational office administration responsibilities and evolves through a structured training programme designed to develop the right candidate over a period of 3 to 5 years. The programme includes comprehensive support towards achieving a regulated Diploma qualification, fully funded by the company, along with significant training and professional development opportunities.
Job Description:
As an Adviser Support team member, you will begin with general office administration duties, gradually taking on more complex responsibilities as you progress in your role and training. Initial responsibilities include:
*Updating adviser diaries and managing schedules.
*Handling incoming and outgoing post.
*Receiving and directing phone calls.
*Welcoming clients and preparing for meetings.
*Performing general office administration tasks.
*Managing client casework, including post-review administration.
*Updating company documents and back-office systems.
*Liaising with third parties to obtain and update information.
*Maintaining and updating spreadsheets.
*Gathering and analysing data.
*Inputting data and managing databases.
*Administering client reports, including report writing.
Candidate Profile:
*Strong organisational and administrative skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other data management software.
*A keen interest in developing a career in financial services.
