Job Description:
Our client is a growing professional services company who are seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least six months’ bookkeeping/accountancy experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a supportive, professional environment.
Working as part of a collaborative finance function, you will support the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities of the business while developing your technical skills and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing daily bookkeeping transactions using Xero
*Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers
*Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
*Assisting with VAT returns
*Supporting month-end processes
*Using Excel to prepare reconciliations and reports
*Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records
About You
*Minimum 6 months’ experience in a bookkeeping/accountancy role
*Hands-on experience with Xero
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Motivated, proactive, and keen to learn
*Aspiring to develop a career
