Job Description:
Senior Category Manager
We are currently looking for a Senior Category Manager to join our clients Sustainable Procurement team managing defence-related projects and other large-scale programmes. You will act as a key advisor and leader within the procurement department, focusing on sustainable practices.
*Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
*Support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
*You will ideally have a background within:
*Defence Public Sector procurement
*Strong knowledge of PCR 2015 and Procurement Act 2023
*MCIPS qualification or equivalent.
*Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
*Ability to manage complex categories and drive procurement practice improvements.
12- 24 month contract with a Competitive daily rate
