Job Description:
Are you available to start an exciting HR role in the New Year?
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a friendly team in Swindon, initially on a temporary basis, although there is real potential to become permanent if desired.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Partner with managers to give advice and coaching on effective people management.
*Manage a caseload, supporting managers to resolve complex people issues such as sickness, performance management, and grievances.
*Carry out investigations, facilitate mediation, and attend hearings as required.
*Offer telephone-based coaching and occasional on-site support.
*Work closely with HR Business Partners and manage transitions of employees under TUPE arrangements.
*Provide comprehensive advice on a range of HR issues, enhancing managers’ confidence and ability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in an HR advisory role
*Minimum CPP/CIPD or equivalent relevant experience
*In-depth understanding of up-to-date employment law and HR best practices, particularly in a multi-site environment
