We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a team in Runcorn on a temporary to permanent basis. The role requires knowledge of supporting month-end processes upto trail balance.

The employer is a well-established organisation within their industry. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis for a couple of weeks with a strong likelihood of going permanent based at their Head Office in Runcorn.
Description
The Assistant Accountant duties include:
*Assist with the preparation of forecasting
*Management Accounting duties upto trial balance including accruals, prepayments, P&L, balance sheet,
*Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and on time for accounts payable and receivable functions
*Reconcile bank statements and manage general ledger entries.
*Month-end and year-end closing processes.
*VAT
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
*Assist during audits by preparing necessary documentation.
*Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*Previous experience with month end upto trail balance
*Sage knowledge is desirable not essential
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Offer
