Job Title: Evening Shift Manager
Location: Ashford
Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (38 hours per week)
We’re looking for an experienced Evening Shift Manager to join a leading FMCG manufacturer. In this role, you’ll oversee evening operations, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You’ll be a key player in driving performance, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
This position calls for strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead by example. You’ll need to communicate effectively, adapt quickly under pressure, and motivate your team to achieve consistent results in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities
*Uphold all health & safety, food safety, and quality assurance standards.
*Promptly report hazards, incidents, or near misses to the Production Manager.
*Support and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
*Take part in health & safety briefings and training sessions.

What We’re Looking For
*At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing.
*Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
*Proactive approach to maintenance and process improvement.
*Leadership skills to manage a team of up to 50 during peak periods.
