Job Description:
My client is an incredibly successful and established highliy regarded professional services organisation in theCity of London, they are seeking additional headcount for their growing Tax Advisory-focused team.
This role is ideal for an experienced private client tax professional who enjoys complex advisory work, client interaction, and playing a key role in delivering high-quality tax planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.
The Role As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver bespoke advisory services across a diverse private client portfolio. You’ll take ownership of projects, manage client relationships, and help shape the firm’s advisory offering.
Key responsibilities include:
*Delivering private client tax advisory work, including IHT planning, trusts, estate planning, and residency/domicile matters
*Managing a portfolio of HNW and UHNW individuals, families, and trusts
*Preparing and reviewing complex personal tax returns as part of wider advisory engagements
*Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing clear, practical, and commercially aware tax advice
*Leading client meetings and managing advisory projects from start to finish
*Supporting HMRC enquiries and technical correspondence
*Mentoring and developing junior team members
*Identifying planning opportunities and supporting business development initiatives
Requirements: *CTA qualified (or equivalent)
*Strong experience in private client tax advisory within practice
*Technical expertise across IHT, trusts, estate planning, and personal tax
*Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
*Commercially minded with the ability to spot advisory and planning opportunities
*Experience managing and developing junior staff
