Integration Engineer
Contract: 12 Months
Based: Warton
Hourly Rate: £39.51 PAYE or £53.24 umbrella inside IR35
Hours: 37 hours Monday – Friday
Onsite 3-4 DAYS PER WEEK

This role provides a unique, end-to-end view of our engineering activities, working across multiple business functions and engineering disciplines to support the design and development of complex Systems of Systems platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring that technologies, subsystems and suppliers are effectively integrated to deliver safe, compliant and customer-focused solutions.


Skills:
*Degree in a STEM discipline, or HND/HNC with strong engineering lifecycle experience
*Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering integration environment
*Understanding of engineering functional approaches, processes and activities
*Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels
*Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently and within teams


The Job
*Support engineering delivery management to achieve programme time, cost, quality and performance objectives, including management of technical risk
*Support the alignment and integration of technology development and de-risking activities
*Maintain and support Engineering Statements of Work across multiple disciplines and stakeholders
*Deliver technical management and integration tasks in line with programme needs
*Work with technical teams to manage and coordinate the technology portfolio
*Support the management of major UK Lead Sub-System Integrators, including Rolls-Royce, Leonardo and MBDA
*Support deployment of engineering governance and lifecycle management activities, including design reviews and approval gates
*Support review and approval of technology-led technical proposals, including partner and supplier submissions
