Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the Engineering Manager and provide technical leadership within a small, mixed-discipline design team.
You will lead the design and development of new and existing products, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality mechanical solutions on time and within budget. This is a hands-on role involving CAD design (SolidWorks), concept development, design approval, and transfer of designs into production.
As Senior Mechanical Engineer Key requirements:
* HNC (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering with strong industrial experience
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within manufacturing
* Proven experience leading small projects and New Product Development
* Strong SolidWorks skills (parts, assemblies, weldments, sheet metal)
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
