Luxury Travel Consultant
Base Salary to £34,000 OTE £60,000 to £70,000
Hybrid - Edinburgh
Our client is a luxury travel tour operator who create bespoke tailored private tours within the UK and Scotland.
The Luxury Travel Consultants are tasked with creating extraordinary, bespoke travel experiences across the UK, Ireland and Scotland with a focus on exceptional service, meticulous attention to detail, and immersive itineraries, dedicated to providing journeys that inspire their clients.
This is a consultative role and sales driven role where the Luxury Travel Consultants will be developing a deep understanding of clients’ motivations and plans and designing luxury tour itineraries to meet their requirements.
To be considered candidates, must have travel product knowledge of the UK, Scotland and Ireland with a background in luxury travel sales gained within a tour operator a hotel concierge background.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis - Edinburgh
Luxury Travel Consultant Responsibilities
Respond to inbound leads (web, email, phone) from prospective luxury travellers.
Develop in-depth client engagement to understand preferences, motivations, and "dream trip" priorities.
Prepare proposals, pricing, and detailed itineraries; present them in a compelling way that emphasises value and exclusivity.
Close sales and achieve (or exceed) revenue targets.
Monitor supplier relationships and feedback insights to operations to improve product offering.
Oversee client booking process: confirm arrangements, liaise with operations, and ensure accuracy of reservations.
Luxury Travel ConsultantExperience Required:
Previous experience in luxury travel sales, preferably in a tour operator or agency environment but possibly from a luxury hotel setting.
Strong consultative sales skills: ability to build rapport, ask the right questions, and propose high-value solutions.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to write compelling proposals and speak confidently with affluent clients.
Travel product knowledge of the UK, Scotland and Ireland is essential

Base Salary of £34,000 based in experience
£60-70k OTE per annum (base + commission)
