Location: Lymm, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)


An established and forward-thinking Independent Financial Advice firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its dynamic and highly regarded team based in Lymm, Cheshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong paraplanner who enjoys working closely with advisers, supporting high-quality financial planning for High Net Worth individuals and businesses across the UK.


The Role
Working alongside a team of experienced Independent Financial Advisers, you will provide comprehensive paraplanning support, ensuring advice is robust, compliant, and tailored to client needs.


Key Responsibilities
*Provide technical paraplanning support to advisers across the business
*Attend client review meetings with advisers and produce accurate meeting notes
*Compile detailed suitability reports based on adviser recommendations, including:
*Investments
*Pensions
*SIPP and SSAS
*Pension property purchase
*Fund switches
*Undertake product and fund research to identify suitable client solutions
*Handle new business submissions and maintain compliant client records
*Use investment and wrap platforms efficiently
*Obtain illustrations and technical information from product providers
*Ensure ISA and CGT allowances are utilised effectively each tax year
*Deal with client queries and general enquiries in a professional and timely manner
*Liaise with clients, providers and introducers as required


About You
*Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA or wealth management practice is essential
*Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions and tax planning
*Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards) preferred
*Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused
*Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
*Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks
*Desire to continue progressing through industry-recognised qualifications
