Role Summary:
This Account Handler role offers the chance to service a high-quality portfolio with premiums at £500k+, in a team where you’ll be trusted to own relationships and deliver consistently.
It’s ideal for an experienced Account handler who wants to step into a more client-facing role, or for someone returning to a structured, high-quality broking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
*Client ownership: Deliver high-touch servicing for large, complex clients across a range of sectors, with autonomy and room to grow
*Broking & placement: Lead day-to-day insurer engagement, managing renewals and ensuring competitive outcomes
*Risk review: Understand client exposures and support the design of bespoke insurance programmes
*Collaboration: Partner closely with senior execs, risk consultants and claims specialists to deliver an end-to-end client solution
*Technical documentation: Ensure accurate, timely handling of policy documents and client queries
*Relationship building: Act as the reliable first point of contact - building long-term relationships grounded in quality delivery
Requirements:
*Strong background in handling UK corporate insurance risks
*Confident in dealing with large premium clients and complex programmes
*Credibility to work independently and build trust with senior stakeholders
*Clear, professional communication style and excellent attention to detail
*Comfortable working in-office or remotely, depending on location and experience
*Willing to engage with the Glasgow office occasionally if remote (typically a few days/month)
