Our client is a leading homewares company, supplying UK retailers. They now have an excellent opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to join the hugely successful marketing team based in South Manchester.


Where does this role fit in?


*Our client in on a mission to step-change their product storytelling and elevate how they connect with customers. As Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be a driving force behind crafting compelling narratives that bring your product categories to life, differentiate them in the market, and inspire consumer conversion.
*A key role in their dynamic marketing team, working closely with product, design, sales and e-com teams, you will be leading the development of best-in-class marketing assets for products and NPD across your categories.
*This role will be crucial in step-changing their online content and asset creation to deliver page-stopping and conversion driving results.
*You will have a strong vision of compelling product storytelling, able to develop and execute strategies that transform technical features into engaging, benefit-led stories across all consumer touch points
*With a passion for product and innate interest in consumer insight, you will be leading projects across key elements of the product marketing mix, including artwork, product photoshoots, copywriting, and NPD concept creation.




Key Responsibilities:


*Own Product Storytelling for your categories: Develop and execute strategies that transform technical features into engaging, benefit-led stories across all consumer touch points.
*Market Positioning: Define clear product positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences and align with brand values.
*Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead GTM plans for new product launches, ensuring distribution wins and cohesive messaging across e-com, retail, and partner platforms.
*Content Development: Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to produce impactful conversion driving assets—product listings copy, imagery and videos —that tell an impactful and consistent story.
*Consumer Insight Integration: Use market research and customer feedback to refine messaging and identify storytelling opportunities.
*Sales Enablement and Customer Marketing: Create tools that empower sales teams to communicate product value effectively and provide effective shopper marketing support across your customer base.
*Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development, Graphics and Sales teams to ensure storytelling is embedded from concept to launch.


What will you need?


*A real passion for product and experience of the home category (or similar) that will shine through all elements of marketing execution.
*Exceptional ability to turn complex product details into clear, compelling narratives
*An instinctive creative eye with experience in briefing and evaluating creative that grabs shoppers with impact across the path to purchase.
*Ability to generate compelling and engaging copy, with a clear features and benefits hierarchy, and in line with brand guidelines / tone of voice.
*Experience of developing conversion driving assets for online sales on marketplaces such as Amazon, Very, and Argos.
*A strong commercial mindset, with ability to support sales teams in pitching concepts to sales teams / buyers via impactful sales aids and selling decks.
*Desire to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, you will want to leave your mark and make a difference.
*Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills. Able to prioritise workload across multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met, with an ability to multitask.
*First class communication skills, able to work cross functionally and build key relationships across departments.
*Laser-like attention to detail. You will havea relentless focus on ’right first time’ delivery.
