Nursery Teaching Assistant - Full Time

A nursery setting in Middlesbrough is seeking a full-time Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This role is ideal for an experienced early years practitioner who is confident supporting children within a nursery environment and contributing to a safe, nurturing, and engaging setting.
The successful candidate will work closely with nursery staff to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with early years best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support children’s learning and development within the nursery setting

* Assist with the delivery of age-appropriate activities and play-based learning

* Support children with personal care routines where required

* Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and independence

* Work collaboratively with nursery practitioners and room leaders

* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times

Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

* A caring, patient, and proactive approach

* Good understanding of early years practice and child development

* Ability to commit to a full-time role from January

* Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities within early years settings
