Bioresources Technical Manager
Location: Home-based (UK) with regular travel to meet clients
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Join a leading consultancy in the bioresource recycling sector. We’re seeking a Bioresources Technical Manager to deliver expert technical support and strengthen client relationships within the bioresources, recycling, and land application industries.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as main technical contact for clients across bioresources and land recycling.
*Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
*Produce accurate technical reports and documentation.
*Manage workloads to meet budgets and business plans.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation (GDPR, H&S, employment law).
*Support senior management and undertake ongoing training.
Skills & Experience
*GCSEs (C/4+) in English & Maths required; relevant degree beneficial.
*Minimum 3 years’ experience in organic material management.
*Knowledge of biosolids treatment, waste management, agricultural land recycling, and quality assurance systems.
*Strong technical writing skills; confident with MS Office and IT systems.
*Up-to-date understanding of industry trends and regulations.
*Proven ability to manage customer relationships.
*FACTS qualification desirable (support provided to achieve).
*Strong technical competence, teamwork, and communication skills.
*Motivated, proactive, and commercially aware.
Additional Requirements
*Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
*Willing to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays.
