School Cleaner Required – Washington, West Sussex
Engage Education is currently recruiting a School Cleaner to join a well-established and welcoming school based in Washington, West Sussex. This is a part-time role and an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for early-morning work within an education setting.
Role details
*Part-time position
*Working hours: 5:00am – 9:00am, Monday to Friday
*Pay rate: £13.68 per hour
*Start date: ASAP
As a School Cleaner, you will play a key role in ensuring the school environment is clean, safe, and well presented for pupils, staff, and visitors. Duties will include general cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas, following health and safety procedures at all times.
Due to the school’s rural location, candidates must have access to a car, as there are no public transport routes available.
The ideal candidate
*Has previous cleaning experience (school or commercial cleaning desirable but not essential)
*Is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
*Is happy working early morning hours
*Has access to their own vehicle
