Job Title: Technical Paraplanner
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – min. 2 days office-based)
Salary: £40,000–£45,000

A well-established wealth management firm based in Manchester city centre, with over 10 years in the market and a team of around 40 people. Known for its high standards and strong client relationships, the firm offers a technical and collaborative environment where quality planning takes priority.
Role Summary:
You’ll be part of a structured paraplanning team supporting advisers working with UHNW and complex clients. The role is technically challenging and best suited to someone who enjoys cash flow modelling, deep investment analysis, and bespoke report writing. Progression to advice is available long-term, but not expected.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build detailed cash flow models using CashCalc
• Carry out investment research using FE Analytics
• Draft high-level, bespoke financial planning reports
• Support planning strategies involving EIS, IHT, trusts, and business relief
• Collaborate with advisers and senior paraplanners
• Mentor junior team members as appropriate
Requirements:
• Proven paraplanning experience in a wealth or IFA setting
• Confident with CashCalc and FE Analytics
• Strong report writing and technical planning skills
• Comfortable with complex planning areas (EIS, IHT, trusts, business owners)
