Description
* Support Finance Business Partners by producing timely and accurate transactional-level analysis and reporting across multiple directorates.
* Assist with the preparation of financial results, including management accounts, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and statutory accounts.
* Provide insightful variance analysis to support decision-making and drive performance improvements.
* Lead on the accounting for surpluses and deficits on variable service charges, including reviews, analysis, commentary, and reconciliations.
* Support stakeholders with service charge recoverability, sinking funds, and leaseholder accounts.
* Produce journals and deliver comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
* Contribute to finance projects, process reviews, and system enhancements to improve efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Profile
* Experience of service charge accounting within a social housing environment (desirable).
* Knowledge of housing legislation and Housing Association systems (advantageous).
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (advanced Excel essential).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing deadlines effectively.
Job Offer
* Salary up to £46,000 per annum.
* 12-month fixed-term contract.
