We are seeking an experiencedCustoms Brokerage & Logistics Coordinator to deliver a comprehensive customs and logistics service to both domestic and international clients. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong customs knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations for imports and exports, ensuring correct commodity codes and schemes are used
*Create transit documents in line with customs compliance requirements
*Prepare full export documentation, including raising airway bills
*Liaise with customers, suppliers, and authorities to obtain and verify documentation
*Arrange international and domestic transport from start to finish, providing status updates and final proof of delivery
*Cost, quote, and advise on transport solutions and customs formalities
*Respond to and resolve Border Force and customs enquiries
*Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance within an ETSF facility
*Coordinate daily schedules for drivers and subcontractors
*Load and unload vehicles when required and maintain warehouse stock records
*Complete file checks and finalise charges ahead of invoicing
*Organise pick and pack operations
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customs environment
*Proven experience handling imports and exports
*Good working knowledge of customs systems (Descartes, Boxtop preferred)
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across teams
*Logical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
*Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills
*Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
*Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*Capable of working independently, using initiative, and flexibly including outside normal office hours
